About Dana June 11, 2008

Dana Lisa Young is a corporate intranet portal manager with 10+ years experience in knowledge management.  Her areas of focus are portal strategy and implementation, taxonomy and enterprise content management.  She works for a Big 4 professional services firm and has been involved with the development and ongoing management of both national and global intranet platforms.  She has an avid interest in social media and is working to increase the prevalance and adoption of social media and Web 2.0 technologies within the enterprise environment. 

In her personal life, Dana is active in the arts.  She is a published poet, whose works have appeared in many journals and publications.  She is on the Board of Directors at Eyedrum, a gallery and performance space in downtown Atlanta that focuses on contemporary and experimental approaches to art, music and performance.  Dana enjoys doing photography and painting as well.  Additionally, Dana is a Usui Reiki Master practitioner and operates her own Reiki practice, Dragonfly Reiki.  She is married with a daughter, stepson and neurotic dog.
